Buffering acid in dyeing
PROPERTIES
• In polyester dyeing process with dispersion dyes, the dye bath adjusts the pH value and keeps it under control.
• Provides pH control during staining and prevents the risk of color change due to fluctuations in pH.
• It is effective in adjusting the pH value where dispersion dyes show the best stability.
• Foam-free and suitable for HT machines.
• Suitable for neutralizing alkali, which may remain on the fabric after basic washing.
• Providing pH control; provides dye uptake, smoothness and reproducibility of dyeing.
APPLICATION
• The amount of application varies depending on the desired pH range, the amount of alkali on the fabric and the pH value of the water used. The ideal amount should be determined before staining.
• It is recommended to add first to the dyeing bath float and to ensure homogeneity by mixing and then to make other additions.
• In light paint tones: 0,5g / l
• For dark paint tones: 0,75g / l
pH 4.5 for the polyester dyeing process.
